1. Overview
-
Name: Novel γ-FeOOH Desulfurizer.
-
Application: For the removal of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) from blast furnace gas, oil well gas, natural gas, coke oven gas, biogas, etc.
-
Composition, Physical and Chemical Properties, and Storage: The main component is γ-FeOOH. It is in the form of rod-shaped particles, non-toxic and harmless. It is stored in a dry place after being packaged in bags or drums.
2. Key Specifications
-
Sulfur Capacity: The product is available in three types with a true working sulfur capacity of 25%, 30%, and 35%, as well as pure γ-FeOOH (purity > 95%). This is 3-5 times the sulfur capacity of conventional desulfurizers (1 ton of product can remove 250 kg, 300 kg, and >350 kg of hydrogen sulfide, respectively). The product can be regenerated under simple conditions.
3. Product Advantages
-
High Content of Active Component γ-FeOOH
-
The main component of this product is high desulfurization-active γ-FeOOH (44-1415), with a content ranging from 60% to 98%.
-
XRD data of the desulfurizer shows a single phase of γ-FeOOH.
-
-
Abundant Pores Fully Exposing Active Sites
-
The product has a rich and uniform pore structure formed by flake-like structures, ensuring full exposure and reaction of the active component γ-FeOOH.
-
Images of the product’s appearance and microstructure are available.
-
-
Low Post-Desulfurization Residue and High-Value Utilization
-
The high true working sulfur capacity of this product means that only 25%-50% of the conventional desulfurizer is needed to remove the same amount of hydrogen sulfide. This reduces the cost and footprint of desulfurization equipment.
-
The amount of desulfurization residue produced is only 30%-60% of that from conventional desulfurizers, lowering the cost of residue disposal.
-
Additionally, our research team has developed high-value utilization technologies for desulfurization residue, which can be applied in fluoride removal and heavy metal adsorption. The desulfurization residue can be recovered and utilized at a later stage.
